Hi! I am Arushi and I am a business student at the University of Texas at Austin. Apart from school, I love expressing myself through creativity, dancing, traveling, and making artwork. I love exploring the world and capturing moments through photography. These passions help me stay relaxed and connected to my culture and the things that matter most to me.
My Love for Painting & Sketching
Art has always been one of my favorite ways to unwind and relax. I love experimenting with colors and different mediums. I sometimes use acrylic and other times pencil. Painting and sketching help me slow down and reconnect with my imagination.
My Odissi Rangapravesh
One of the most meaningful milestones in my life was completing my Odissi Rangapravesh, which is the debut performance that marks a dancer’s transition into advanced classical training. Odissi connects me deeply to my heritage and shows storytelling through movement.
My Travels & Photography
Traveling is one of my biggest passions. I have visited over 12 countries so far! Recently, I traveled to Italy and Switzerland, and both of them were goregous. Italy felt warm and welcoming, full of incredible and delicious pastas and kind locals. Switzerland looked like a real-life postcard because of its crystal-blue lakes and mountain views.
I also love photography, and traveling gives me the excuse to capture beautiful moments.
